Melters for hotmelts and reactive PUR adhesives

 

The motto for using our premelters is: no half measures!

Our standard premelters for adhesive application and coating systems can melt up to 240 kg of adhesives per hour. Optionally, we can also implement higher melting capacities for specific customers.


Our Melters automatically supply the machine with hot, liquid adhesive – but only ever as much as is needed at the specific point in time.


We manufacture premelters for:

  • Granulated hotmelts
  • Reactive adhesives (PUR, polyurethane-based) in a closed-loop system

Control is carried out by means of capacitive level control in the melting tank of the respective application machine or using a timer.


Thanks to their individual and needs-based control, our premelting systems are extremely energy-saving and economical. Our premelting systems can be expanded even further with a wide range of accessories such as a vacuum conveyor with a granulate reservoir, for instance.

Description

The reactive adhesive (e.g. PUR adhesive) is stored in the premelter's melting pipe. The pneumatically actuated cylinder presses the adhesive through the electrically heated melting plate as required.

Melting quantity control is carried out by means of capacitive level control in the application machine's melting tank. Needs-based melting leads to only low thermal stress for the PUR adhesives.
The PUR series premelters are equipped with an airtight melting tank and a connection for nitrogen, dry air or inert gas.
All components that come into contact with reactive adhesive are coated with Teflon.

PUR premelter - PUVS 280-P

Description

The reactive adhesive (e.g. PUR adhesive) is stored in the premelter's melting pipe. The pneumatically actuated cylinder presses the adhesive through the electrically heated melting plate and the blocking facility into the heated hose(s) as required. These end at an adhesive filling valve on the adhesive melting tank and ensure a continuous quantity of hotmelt. Several machines can be supplied simultaneously with processed adhesive using up to four heated hoses.

Melting quantity control is carried out by means of capacitive level control in the application machine's melting tank. Needs-based melting leads to only low thermal stress for the PUR adhesives.
The PUR series premelters are equipped with an airtight melting tank and a connection for nitrogen, dry air or inert gas.
All components that come into contact with reactive adhesive are coated with Teflon.

Description

Our granulate / hotmelt premelters pneumatically press the granulated adhesive through the electrically heated melting plate as required.

Thanks to its compact design, the premelter is mounted on the application machine and feeds the hotmelt to the melting tank over the shortest possible route.

Melting quantity control is carried out by means of capacitive level control in the application machine's melting tank or using a timer.


Needs-based melting leads to only low thermal stress for the adhesives.
