"Town-River-River" - Mirco wins the photo competition of the city of Porta Westfalica

"Town - Country - River" - this was the motto of the town of Porta Westfalica's anniversary photo competition in spring.

From a total of 80 motifs, 11 pictures were selected in 4 categories. The winners were announced at the town festival at the beginning of September. And one of them is our employee Mirco Laskiwitz, who took first place in the "Porta from above" category.

The reason: the special view of the Weser and the rather atypical perspective of Porta Westfalica.

Mirco has already completed his apprenticeship with us, was taken on afterwards and has been an important part of our team ever since. As a mechatronics engineer, he works in machine assembly and, as a service technician, ensures that our adhesive application machines run reliably.

In his spare time, he enjoys working on motorcycles and mopeds. Or testing his newly purchased drone.

The picture was taken by chance during one of these test flights. And the submission to the competition also happened by chance when Mirco stumbled across the competition on the Porta website.
